Mark Levin - Owner and General Manager

Master's degrees in both Mining Engineering and Ecological Engineering. Provides overall direction of company. Over 25 years related work experience in mining and environmental projects. Mr. Levin left the position of Geosciences Division manager for EG&G at the Rocky Flats superfund cleanup site to start MES. In that position, he was responsible for a $35 million per year function supporting geology, groundwater, and soils programs, treatability studies, and data management for environmental restoration.

Mr. Levin has previously had staff, consulting, and management positions in both underground coal and hardrock mining and exploration companies.

Mr. Levin currently serves as the President of the Colorado Chapter of the International Society of Explosives Engineers, and is an active member of the Colorado Mining Association, Society of Mining Engineers, and the American Society of Civil Engineers Geo-Institute.
